About Facing Fascism
Facing Fascism: New York and the Spanish Civil War, examines the city as a locus of political discourse and engagement during a critical period in world history.
Through historic photographs, original documents, works of art, video presentations, and artifacts, the exhibition tells the story of how New Yorkers from across the political spectrum responded to the crisis in Spain. Major funding for the exhibition provided by The Puffin Foundation, Ltd., and the Instituto Cervantes.
