January 25, 1914, NYC; Father Jacob Lopoff, b. 1888 Russia; Attended Texas A&M 1 year and New York University; Single; Writer; CP June 1937; Received Passport# 467900 on August 3, 1937 which listed his address as 219 East 12th Street, NYC (Spring Valley, New York); Sailed August 11, 1937 aboard the Queen Mary; Arrived in Spain via Espolla on August 21, 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Lincoln-Washington BN, Co.2, Company Commander; Lincoln-Washington BN, Plaza Mayor, briefly as acting Commander then BN Adjutant; WIA in September 1938 during the Ebro Offensive, died in hospital of wounds.
