December 8, 1916, NYC, Croatian American, CoB, High school education, Single; Student; CP 1932 and YCL 1933; received passport# 392712 on April 17, 1937 which listed his address as 454 West 47th  Street, NYC, Sailed April 28, 1937 aboard the Aquitania, Arrived in Spain on May 30, 1937 after surviving the sinking of the City of Barcelona, Served with the XV BDE, Mackenzie-Papineau BN; later with a medical unit, WIA, Returned to the US on December 20, 1938 aboard the Ausonia.
