May 16, 1916, Lynn, Massachusetts; Armenian American; Father Nishan Keossian (1885-?), mother Mary Keossian (1893-?); 2 years of college; Single; Journalist for the Daily Worker; CP November 9, 1938 (1932) and YCL; Received Passport# 536204 on May 20, 1938 which listed his address as 353 Beckman Avenue, NYC; Arrived in Spain via Massanet on June 7, 1938; Served with the XV BDE, Estado Mayor, Instruction (June 1938); Rank Soldado; Returned to the US on December 20, 1938 aboard the Ausonia; WWII US Army enlisted September 1, 1942; Married Helen Dolezel (1915-?) on May 16, 1941 in NYC; Married Barbara Berman on June 18, 1960 in Nevada; d. January 22, 1991, Contra Costa County, California under Armand Kerin.
Siblings: brothers Zaven Keosean (1918-?), Newman Keosean (1923-?), sisters Mabrouhe "Margaret” Keossian (1919-?).
