Fragiacomeo, Carlo (Charles); b. October 28, 1895, Piran/Pirano, present day Slovenia; To the US in 1923; South Slav; Father Pietro Fragiacomeo, mother Maria (Davanzo) Fragiacomeo; Sailor Deckhand; Republican; To Spain 1937; Served with the Garibaldi Battalion; Served at Morata de Tanjuna, Guadalajara, Huesca, Brunete, and Farlete; Wounded in action at Guadalajara; Left Spain at the same time as Randolfo Pacciardi at the end of August 1937, initially to France later back to the US.
