Biography

Delgado Delgado, Carmelo b. April 20, 1913, Guayama, Puerto Rico; Puerto Rican, POW; Father Eladio Delgado Berríos, mother Flora Delgado González, two brothers Eladio and Rafael; Graduated from the University of Puerto Rico and went to Spain in 1935 to attend the University of Madrid as a law student; Student; Served with a student Militia group; Later with the Republican Popular Army, possibly the 3rd Mixed Brigade; Captured in University City, Madrid; Tried, convicted, and executed by firing squad on April 10, 1937, Valladolid, Spain.
