Zingraf (1886-1976), step-father Jerome Howard (1881-?), mother Rose Zingraf, step-mother Helen Elizebeth Cook (1897-1981); Lineman and Seaman; ISU, AFL; Certificate of Identity which listed his address as 4418 North Menard Avenue, Chicago, Illinois, and 2711 Cass Street, Detroit, Michigan; Arrived in Spain via Massanet on June 12, 1938; Served with the XV BDE, Lincoln-Washington BN, Co. 4, machine-gunner; Rank Soldado; Trained with 35th Division Training Base at MontBlanc beginning June 1938; Served at Ebro Offensive (Gandesa and Sierra Pandols); To hospital on August 20, 1938 until September 18, 1938 Taragona, Vich and Matro; Returned to the US on December 31, 1938 aboard the President Harding; Wife Ann Zingraf; d. March 4, 2007, Park Rapids, Minnesota, cremated.
