Biography: Conrado Rosario Figueroa was born in 1912 in Puerto Rico. He was living in New York, a member of the Young Communist League, and working as a grocery clerk when he volunteered to serve in Spain. Rosario departed for Europe aboard the Queen Mary on March 10, 1937. He was killed during the Brunete campaign on July 9, 1937 ~ Chris Brooks
