October 4, 1909, Albany, New York; Attended High School for 1 year; Married; Party Organizer, Seaman, and Painter; YCL 1930 and CP 1931; Domicile Albany, New York; Sailed May 19, 1937 aboard the Normandie; Crossed the border into Spain via Rosas on June 15, 1937; Arrived in Albacete on June 17, 1930; Trained with the Mackenzie-Papineau BN, Company Commissar; Sent to the front as a replacement; Served with the XV BDE, Estado Mayor, Assistant Brigade Commissar; Appointed BDE Commissar by Copic on September 3, 1937 or October 1, 1937; Believed captured and executed on April 2, 1938, Gandesa, during the Retreats.
