Poling, Eugene Debs. (Polling), b.August 26, 1908, Lone Wolf, Oklahoma; POW; Education through the 11th grade; Married; Farmer, Agronomist and Driver; CP 1935; Domicile Hobart, Oklahoma and 221 W. Park Street, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (Wilburton, Oklahoma);  Sailed June 16, 1937 aboard the Aquitania; Arrived in Spain on July 3, 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Mackenzie-Papineau BN, WIA at Fuentes del Ebro. Rejoined BN.  Captured; rank Soldado;   Exchanged April 22, 1938; Returned to the US on May 6, 1939 aboard the President Harding; WWII  US Army, 4th Army, Information and Education Officer.  Ft Hood, Texas.  Kept Stateside.
