Hanson, Francis Edward. (Barnes, Jack; Hansen); b. September 7, 1919, Maury County, Minnesota; Finnish American; Single; Painter and Building worker; CP January 1936 (1935); received passport# 364835 on February 1, 1937 which listed his address as 414 Morgan Avenue North, and 2212 Clark Street, both Minneapolis, Minnesota (116 Highland Avenue, Maple, Minnesota); Sailed February 10, 1937 aboard the Washington; Arrived in Spain on February 18, 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Lincoln BN(?), WIA Jarama(?); later with the 86th BDE, 20th BN, transferred to the Mackenzie-Papineau BN; Returned to the US on January 20, 1939 aboard the Aquitania.
