June 4, 1913, NYC; Attended Columbia University for 4 terms; Prior military experience in the form of Parochial Military School; Single; Driver and Building Mechanic; American Labor Party 1936 and Spanish CP; Received Passport# 450877 on June 1, 1937 which listed his address as 1346 6th Avenue, NYC; Sailed June 5, 1937 aboard the Lancastria; Arrived in Spain via Setcases on June 21, 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Lincoln-Washington BN, MG Co. Commissar; Promoted to BN Commissar, appointed October 13, 1937 by Dave Doran; Later with the Mackenzie-Papineau BN; Served at Belchite and Fuentes de Ebro; Returned to the US on June 24, 1938 aboard the Washington; Post war was married to Ruth Davidow; WWII Armed forces; d. December 15, 1993, San Bernardino, California.
