Redlich, George F. (Redlich, Georg); b. March 22, 1919, Stillwater, Payne County, Oklahoma; German-American; Father Frederick Wilhelm Redlich (1880-1940), mother Bertol Eckold (1891-1954); Moved from Oklahoma to Chicago when he was 12; Hyde Park High School; Single; Student; CP; Received Passport# 4770, Chicago series, on January 22, 1937 which listed his address as 5709 Dorchester Avenue, Chicago, Illinois; Sailed January 28, 1937 aboard the Aquitania; Arrived in Spain March 17; Served in Sanidad; Returned to the US on August 30, 1937 aboard the Berengaria; Repatriated due to his age and mother ill; Married Josephine M. Simpson on November 4, 1940, one daughter Karla Redlich; Redlich was working as an Artist for the W.P.A. at the time of his death; d.
