Biography

Baldo, Giuseppe b. May 6, 1896, Revine Lago, Province of Treviso, Italy to the US at an unspecified date; Italian American; father Antonio Baldo; Woodworker; Socialist; Domicile New York; Served in the IB and was the Responsible for the IB woodworking shop; After leaving Spain he was detained in St. Cyprien and Gurs; In 1942, he was transferred to Italy and sentenced to internal exile on the island of Ventotene; After the armistice of September 8, 1943, he joined the Resistance as a partisan.
