August 12, 1902, Wisconsin; Father Charles Frederick Smith (1855-1912), mother Clara Belle Haseltine (1861-1925); Single; Machinist, CP 1937 (1936); Received Passport# 29408, San Francisco series, on June 10, 1937 which gave his address as 407 Foothill Boulevard, San Leandro, California; 36 years old; Arrived in Spain via Massanet on July 11, 1937; Returned to the US on December 15, 1938 aboard the Paris; Married Anna Deloris Bacon (1899-?) on May 25, 1940; Later married Ethel Schanhott; d. January 17, 1964, Mexico City, Mexico, heartattack, buried in Panteon Americano.
