Stamler, Harris Hyman. (Hary Hyman Stamler); 37 years old; Instructor Automotive Repair; CP 1936; Received Passport# 364407 on January 29, 1937 which listed his address as 16 McLean Court, Boston, Massachusetts; Sailed February 6, 1937 aboard the Paris; Served in the Artillery, was in Almasa his entire time in Spain; Repatriated due to family affairs, received an inheritance; Returned to the US on September 30, 1937 aboard the Normandie; His passport was taken up when the ship docked in the US; Attempted to return to Spain by stowing away on the Ile de France, he was arrested when the ship docked in Havre on August 3, 1938, after paying his round trip fare he was given a 30-day suspended sentence and sent back to the US; He arrived on August 23, 1938 aboard the Paris.
