(Purchick, Harry; Puschick, Harry); 22 years; 2 years college; Single; Architectural draftsman; YCL 1931, section committee; Domicile 920 St. Johns Avenue, Bronx, New York; Arrived in Spain via Setcases on July 2, 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Lincoln BN; Deserted on September 6, 1937 from Belchite, to see the political commissar and was arrested by Spanish Police at Hijar on October 6; Jailed for three months and then sent to Albacete, arriving December 22, 1937; Judicial commission allowed him to return to the front; Was listed as being back with the Brigade in January 1938; Listed as being killed in action at Teruel.
