Barnett, James Clinton. b. November 10, 1908, Trafalgar, Indiana; Attended Frankline College in Franklin, Indiana for 1 year; Prior service in the US Marine Corps, NCO, medical discharge in 1935; Newspaperman, Printer and Seaman; CP May 1937; received passport# 408991 on May 10, 1937 which listed his address as 1524 West 28th Street, Indianapolis; Indiana; Sailed May 12, 1937 aboard the Aquitania; Arrived in Spain on June 2, 1937; Served with the Artillery, 11th Regt., 2nd Group, 14th Battery (John Brown Battery), 155mm Guns; Returned to the US on February 4, 1939 aboard the President Harding; WWII worked in defense plants; d. April 1980, Cincinnati, Indiana.
