December 30, 1908; Jewish; High School education; Single; Laborer and Restaurant Worker, employed by Camp Unity; CP February 1933 (1934) Section 30, Unit 14; AFL Hotel Restaurant Employee Local 302 from 1934; Received Passport# 482664 on October 29, 1937 which listed his address as 37 Green Street (956 Sherman Avenue, Bronx, New York); Sailed November 3, 1937 aboard the Manhattan; Arrived in Spain via Massanet on November 15, 1937; Trained at Tarazona from November 22, 1937 to February 12, 1938; Served with the XV BDE, Mackenzie-Papineau BN, Co. 1; Transferred March 20, 1938 to Brigade MG Co., Rank Cabo; Served at Retreats (Letux, Albalate, Alcaniz, Caspe, Batea) and the Ebro Offensive; WIA July 26, 1938 on Hill 481, hit in right hand; In Mataro Hospital; Returned to the US on December 20, 1938 aboard the Ausonia; d. November 2, 1989, Toms River, New Jersey.
