September 9, 1911, Iron River, Michigan; Greek American; POW; Grade school education; Single; Coal Miner; YCL 1931; Domicile Nanticoke, Pennsylvania; Sailed February 17, 1937 aboard the President Roosevelt; Arrived in Spain on March 17, 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Lincoln and Lincoln-Washington BN from Jarama through the Retreats; POW March 30-April 10, 1938 near Gandesa; Exchanged April 22, 1939; Returned to the US on May 6, 1939 aboard the President Harding; d. April 24, 1973, San Francisco, California, buried in Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Colma, San Mateo County, California.
