June 18, 1903, Kiev, Ukraine, Russia; Russian American; 2 years prior military service; Painter; CP 1929; received passport# 358000 on December 19, 1936 which listed his address as 1157 Wheeler Avenue, Bronx, New York; Sailed December 26, 1936 aboard the Normandie; Arrived in Spain on January 6, 1937; Returned to the US on July 2, 1937, Champlain ; in the Spring of 1938 Cuban returned to Spain, Killed in action July 28, 1938, Gandesa, during the Retreats.
