Levine, Louis Steven. b. June 1, 1912, New York; No Passport issued, Domicile 583 Chester Street, Brooklyn, New York and NYC; Arrived in Spain via Massanet on May 29, 1938; Served with the XV BDE, Mackenzie-Papineau BN, WIA Fuentes de Ebro; June 1, 1938 was in Figueras for medical repatriation; Returned to the US on August 18, 1938 aboard the Washington; WWII US Army Air Corps, Bombers, was severely injured in ground accident when a defective bomb-bay door hit him in the head; The resulting injury forced Levine to spend all but four of his remaining years in Veterans Administration hospitals; d. February 13, 1975, Lyons, New York.
