k-Nelson, Marvin. (Nelsen; Mervin – real name); b. January 28, 1909, Kenosha, Wisconsin; CP; received passport# 495847 on January 31, 1938 which listed his address as 1919 West Boulevard, Racine, Wisconsin; Sailed February 9, 1938 aboard the Washington; Arrived in Spain on March 4, 1938; Served with the XV BDE, Lincoln-Washington BN, rank Soldado, reported MIA April 3, 1938, Gandesa, during the Retreats; Brother and sister inquired throught the State Department to see if he was captured, no trace found.
