Osborne (1889-?); Graduated from New Smyrna HS and attended University of Florida 1 year; Prior military service with the US Army, 1st Regiment of Artillery, stationed in Gainsville, Florida, 1936-37, Rank Private; Single; Student; CP 1936 and YCL 1934, branch organizer; Received Passport# 454905 on July 1, 1937 which listed his address as PO Box 554, New Smyrna, Florida; Arrived in Spain via Espolla on July 31, 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Lincoln-Washington BN, Plana Mayor; Auto Park, Driver; Served at Fuentes de Ebro, Teruel, Retreats and the Ebro Offensive; To hospital for yellow jaundice to hospital in Valls 2 weeks; Returned to the US on December 15, 1938 aboard the Paris.; WWII US Army National Guard, enlisted November 25, 1940 in the Infantry, Rank Private First Class; Married Mary Harding Rayne (1915-?) on February 9, 1941 in Baker, Florida; d. October 6, 1976, Volusia, Florida.
