Feldt, Orrin Onne Erland. (Onni); b. August 23, 1910, Detroit, Michigan; Finnish American; Father Frank (Frans) Feldt (1875-?), mother Fina Feldt (1882-1983); High School graduate; Single; Automobile mechanic with Cadillac Motor Company (UAW Local 174); CP 1936; Received Passport# 369781 on February 26, 1937 which listed his address as 6742 Seneca Avenue, Detroit, Michigan; Sailed March 12, 1937 aboard the Ile de France; Arrived in Spain on April 14, 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Lincoln BN; Transferred to the Auto Park; Detached and sent to 86th BDE on Southern Front; Initially served as a Driver, later ran a fuel depot in Los Blasquez; Known as the "Sheriff of Blasquez," also later served with the 45th Division Fortifications; Returned to the US on December 20, 1938 aboard the Ausonia; Married Helmi M. Johnson (1914-1973), daughter Audrey Feldt; d. July 5, 1993, Kenosha, Wisconsin, buried in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
