Sisti, Pietro. (Siety, Pete); b. May 29, 1890 (1891), Collagna, Province of Reggio nell'Emilia, Italy; To the US on May 11, 1914 aboard the SS Palermo from Genoa through Canada, he made two previous trips in 1910 and 1913; Italian American; Father Giovanni Sisti; Single; Laborer; CP 1929; 48 years old; Domicile 2700 Charleston, St. Louis, Missouri; Sailed March 18, 1937 aboard the Normandie; Arrived in Spain on April 2, 1937; Served in the International Brigades in the Intendencia (Supply branch), Albacete; In June 1937 was a patient in Orihuela Hospital; On 12 August 1938 he left Spain and crossed into France; Returned to the US on September 4, 1938 through Quebec, Canada aboard the Alania; Wife May Oldham (1899—Sisti is included the Italian police files because of his antifascist ideas and is listed in the wanted bulletin); d. August 26, 1954, Multnomah, Oregon, buried in Riverview Mausoleum in Portland, Oregon.
