November 5, 1915, Gilbert, Minnesota; Finnish American; High School education; Single; Pressman on a newspaper and Laborer; YCL 1934 and CP 1936; Domicile Superior, Wisconsin; Arrived in Spain on June 2, 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Mackenzie-Papineau BN, MG Co., Section 1; Rank Sargento; WIA Retreats; Returned to the US on October 25, 1938 aboard the Ile de France; d. July 23, 1979, Superior, Douglas County, Wisconsin, buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Superior, Douglas County, Wisconsin.
