Williams, Randall Arthur (Eugene, Randolph); b. November 7, 1906, Leadville, Colorado; Single; Seaman; No party affiliation, Marine Cooks and Stewards of the Atlantic and Gulf; Received Passport# 4852575 on November 7, 1937 which listed his address as RFD #1, Box 15, Tacoma, Washington; Sailed November 25, 1937 aboard the Berengaria; Arrived in Spain via Massanet on December 6, 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Lincoln-Washington BN; Rank Soldado; Reported MIA Retreats; Detained in Barcelona and transferred to Base at Albacete; Deserted March 28, 1938, sought assistance in returning to the US from the American Consul in Marsaille, France; Returned to the US on June 18, 1938 aboard the President Roosevelt; d. September 25, 1988 in Colorado Springs, Colorado; Buried in Falcon Cemetery, Falcon, Nevada County, Arkansas, Find-a-Grave# 14954952.
