July 28, 1916, Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin (Ann Arbor, Michigan); Graduated from the University of Michigan, BA; Single; Journalist and Student; YCL 1935 and CP February 1936; Received Passport# 433504 on June 4, 1937 which listed his address as 1420 Golden Avenue, Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Detroit, Michigan; Sailed June 16, 1937 aboard the Aquitania; Arrived in Spain via Espolla on June 28, 1937; Served in the XV BDE, Mackenzie-Papineau BN; BDE Estado Mayor, operations; Rank Soldado; Returned to the US on December 15, 1938 aboard the Paris; d. August 9, 1995, Ann Arbor, Michigan (Superior, Michigan).
