July 9, 1914; Father Fred Nagle, mother Caroline; No prior military service; Attended Wayne State University for 2 years; Single; Driver and Pharmacist; YCL 1934, unit organizer and CP January 1935, Auto Workers Union, CIO; Received Passport# 369069 on February 21, 1937 which listed his address as 5057 Wharfeld (Whitfield) Street, Detroit, Michigan; Sailed March 20, 1937 aboard the Ile de France; Arrived in Spain on April 4 (14), 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Auto Park; 15th Corps, 35th Division, Sanidad; Served at Retreats and Ebro Offensive; Returned to the US on December 20, 1938 aboard the Ausonia; WWII Armed forces; d. August 28, 2003, Michigan.
