Lallemant, Robert. (Avé-Lallement, Robert William “Bob”; Ave-Lallemant, Robert William Edgar Frederick); b. July 4, 1913 Wilson, Winona County, Minnesota; Father Robert Avé-Lallement, mother Lora Avé-Lallement; No prior military service; High School education; Single; Maritime worker and Agricultural worker; YCL, CP 1934; Marine Cooks and Stewards of Maritime Federation of the Pacific; Received Passport# 25645, San Francisco series, on March 17, 1937 which listed his address as 95 North 88th Street, Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; Sailed March 31, 1937 aboard the Aquitania; Arrived in Spain April 18, 1937; Served with the XV BDE, Lincoln-Washington BN, infantry later with Transportation as a driver; Served at Fuentes de Ebro (buried alive when a trench collapsed in air attack); Only four of eight buried survived; Returned to the US on December 20, 1937 aboard the Ausonia; WWII Armed forces.
