August 25, 1915, Springfield, Illinois; Father Jack Cohen (1888-1958), mother Sarah Cohen (1886-1953); Attended the University of Chicago; Single; CP; Received Passport# 386921 on April 8, 1937 which listed his address as Chicago, Illinois, and 2010 Peoria Road, Springfield, Illinois; Arrived in Spain May 18, 1937; Served in the Infantry, Rank Soldado (possibly with the Mac-Paps); Returned to the US on November 16, 1937 aboard the Laconia; Married Susanne B. Bank (1919-2005); Married Susanne Madeline Cohen (1920-?); d. June 13, 1984, San Mateo, California.
Siblings: sisters Edith Cohen (1911-1999), Odessa Lynn Cohen (1913-2005), and Pearl Cohen (1920-2011).
