(Gaylord, Carnell); Single; Graduated with honors from high school; Punch press operator; CP; received passport# 368175 on February 19, 1937 which lists his address as 10326 Crestwood Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio, 23 (22) years old; Sailed March 10, 1937 aboard the Washington; Arrested while attempting to cross into Spain, jailed for 30 days; Served with the XV BDE, Washington BN; Killed in action July 10, 1937, Brunete.
