March 9, 1901; Hungarian American, Jewish; Meat Cutter; Antifascist; Domicile Cleveland, Ohio; Sailed February 20, 1937 aboard the Ile de France; Arrived in Spain on March 7, 1937; Served with the XV Brigade, Mackenzie-Papineau Battalion; Transferred to Albacete Auto Park in April 1937; Transferred in June to 14th Corps as a Driver; Returned to the US on December 15, 1938 aboard the Paris; WWII Armed Forces; d. February 4, 1994, Hemet, California.
