Pniewski, Theodore


Pniewski, Theodore. (Pnieroski), b. November 28, 1916, Detroit, Michigan; Polish American; High school education; Single; Toolmaker; YCL 1932 and CP 1935 (1934); received passport# 398078 on April 26, 1937 which listed his address as 3344 Edwin Avenue, Hamtrack, Michigan; Sailed May 7, 1937 aboard the American Farmer; Arrived in Spain on June 2, 1937; Served with the 45th Division, XIII BDE, Dombrowksi BN, MG Co.?, Deserted the front on February 9, 1938 when request for repatriation denied.  Later with anti-tank section Miletish.  Served at Huesca, Brunete, Las Rosas; Returned to the US on October 1, 1938 aboard the Paris.
