Curry, Thomas Edward b. October 23, 1902, Bronx, New York; Father Edward Curry, mother Helen (Teevan) Curry; 4 years US Navy, served aboard the USS Milwaukee; Single; Seaman, held a third class navigator’s license issued in 1933; CP 1933; Received Passport# 365722 on February 5, 1937 which listed his address as 315 West 94th Street, and 790 Riverside Drive, both NYC; Sailed February 10, 1937 aboard the Washington; Arrived in Spain on February 24, 1937; Served with the 86th BDE, 20th BN, Cordoba; Repatriated medical; Returned to the US on September 24, 1937 aboard the De Grasse; 1940 was in the Maritime Training Academy in New London, Connecticut; Married Helen Ambrose, 1953, NYC; d. September 5, 1969, NYC, buried in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Siblings: brothers James Curry, and Henry Curry, sister Helen.
