Rollins, Wade Cuthbert. b. February 12, 1912, Prairie View, Waller County, Texas (Jersey City, New Jersey); Father Wade C. Rollins (1880-1964), mother Esther Woodland (1881-1965); MA in Arts and Mathematics, 6 years University of California; US Army, Artillery, stationed at the Presidio in Monterey, California, 3 years; Single; Math Teacher; CP 1935 (1937) and YCL 1936; Received Passport# 25870, San Francisco series, on March 24, 1937 which listed his address as 1328 North New Hampshire Avenue, Los Angeles, California; Sailed April 5, 1937 aboard the Britannic; Arrived in Spain on April 20, 1937; Served with the Artillery, 11th Regt., 2nd Group, 14th Battery (John Brown Battery), 155mm Guns; Returned to the US on February 4, 1938 aboard the President Harding; Attended the University of California Berkeley where he obtained his Phd., later a Professor at the University of California Davis School of Agriculture; Married Alieen Belle Alderson (1914-2002) on June 11, 1941 in Carson City, Nevada; d. November 15, 2002, San Diego, California.
